just an extra update from bren.

Hi everyone.
Just to update you.
I called around to the Hollow Tree last night whilst I was at work and can confirm that it is redone and refurbed and up and running again.
I was there at about 8.30pm and although I know it isn't dark as such at that time, the car park was like daylight. They have some new floodlighting in the car park area, but best bit (I thought) was that they have put some of those stringy white lights up in the trees (like they have in New York at Christmas) at the front of the pub which throws a lot of light out over the parking area. Obviously I didn't go inside, that would be bad for business for them

, but certainly the outside looks brighter and more inviting. Can't wait to see what the inside is like now.

So, we're good to go again for the Route 56 meets, which will resume in June on the first Monday as ever, and which is the 4th. So put it in your diaries for next month.

ps;(I have no idea what shift I'm on!!! and the way its working out so far this year I may have to turn up in work time again!

Yes, come on guys. The Hollow Tree will be like a brand new place...a complete refurb....how posh is that then eh???!!!??

Hope to be there. At the min having difficulties walkin round due to wound on leg. Bit o Luck will be cleared up enoguh for me to drive up there

We will be down without doubt.

Don't think the Camaro will be quite ready, but will be down in
the Jeep.
Mind you I don't think I could fit the signs and banners in the maro!!

Lookin forward to seeing what the new place is like!
I wont be there in my Dart .... cos the engine is sat in my garage!..so will just be turning up in the general motor Im afraid
