Hi everyone,
can you help, i have a very nice 95 3.4 camaro. however the driver side carpet is soaked under the mat. at first the problem was thought to be a grommet missing where a cable from the alarm runs through the firewall. inspection today revealed saturated sound deading material under carpet and corrosion taking a hold in the floor.
car sits out and gets the rain! any suggestions where it may be getting in?
only on driver side, bone dry on passenger side.

 hi their and welcome to the forum,  ?? you sure its not the heater matrix thats dripping slightly, also try make sure the vents on the bulkhead aint blocked with old leafs or that will overflow thru firewall, best bets to pour a jug thru the vents and see if it runs out on the floor outside within seconds otherwise grab a long gas welding and poke it thru the vents and down the bunghole to clear it thru,

I had puddle of water on driver side rear footwell, and although no visible water on roof or door panel, it traced back to the door/window seals.
