thanks Oz, thanks DJ  ;-)

We'll be there whatever, if one or two come along then great, if not we'll have a go next month :-)

I think it's gonna be a hard slog getting a meet built up, but i can't see us being without a yank for some time yet, so we'll try to keep it going.

Got a few ideas to promote it but I must admit that I havn't had time to do much yet, moving house & have had floors to do, blinds to fit, wadrobes to build & to top the lot it's been manic at work .

We hope to get settled into our new rabbit hutch by mid july, so we'll soon have more time for playing motors :-)

You still gonna run the Leicester area oz ??  when we get settled I intend to make a nuisance of myslef at one or two of the smaller / newer meets & you, tracey & paul are top of my list to annoy first

Excellent turn out, far better than I expected or hoped for & mostly new faces too !

From memory ....

1 Buick Skylark & owner who i didn't get much chance to speak to, he was wel into a chat with a guy from Cambridge that owned a 58 Caddy needing a mechanic ;)

A cracker of a Chevy pickup truck & a lovely rod owned by the same couple.  I'm not sure we ever got their names but my memory is pretty shot these days anyway !   We were chatting with them for a while about various yank related meets / shows etc & their trip across europe later this week.

Michael & Jackie with their Dodge Ram.  actually from March the same as us but I had never seen it around.  Again, had a good old chat & that's what makes the meet worthwhile.

As we left (just after Michael & Jackie) we saw a 3rd Gen Camaro in the car park, two guys were near it but not sure if they owned it or the hothatch beside it.  If we missed anyone, sorry !

One or two pix, sorry i missed M&J's ram, they shot off early & I hadn't snapped it :(      Hope to see our friend (think his name is Raj) with the 58 Caddy at the next meet :)

Hi John

My next meet is 29th July. The last two have been very wet affairs, so if we do at last get some good weather, there should be a good turn out.

Obviously you would be more than welcome mate !

best regards

Barry
