What's up?  I'm new here.

Got a quick question:  will a set of 275/40R17's fit my '79 Camaro?
Found a sweet deal, but not able to try the fitment.

Firstly, do you have standard wheels on your car?

lost of interesting posts about what you can and can't do but it looks like you can.

You'll struggle with them that wide on the fronts, but they will definitely fit in the back.

However, the important thing is getting the right size wheels - width and back spacing.

Do they come with wheels? If so what size?

The wheels I have on are standard with rally rims.  They are 235/60 R15's on the rear.  I'm just worried about spending the money without trying them 1st.

Clearence is possibly going to be a problem Bud, rather you were able to check that particular issue out before parting with your money.

CAMARO / FIREBIRD 1969 thru 1992:
235/45ZR17 front and 255/45ZR17 rear
 
so recon with 275s thed be too wide
