Cant quite stretch to THE Quo Nikki but more likely a Tribute Band such as Clone.

Looking for something a bit different for one or two next year, really fancy a bit of ZZ Top, Eagles, Guns n Roses, Thin Lizzy etc.

Tony has the same Band every year Art so I reackon they must be good.   T/Rextasy are brilliant & we had them a few years back at Summernationals.

Expensive & rightly so but brilliant.  Problem is though were limited because we will never levy a charge for the entertainment.

Brilliant Band Pete.

Telecaster arrived this morning from a Quo Fan I bought it off in Swansea.  Waiting for the Flamed Acoustic ti arrive from USA but Tracking tells me it is now in UK with UPS.

Finding time to completly strip the Tele & build an exact replica of Rossi's Tel with all the other bits n pieces I bought seperatly.  Plays nice though.

The Hamsters are absolutely brilliant band, having played over 3,500 gigs together,
thats over 250 gigs a year.

They do a set of thier own stuff, a Jimi Hendrix set and a ZZ top set.

Went down a storm at Americana.

Eric Clapton described Slim as the "Best Ever British guitarist" ... not a bad accolade!!
Both Slim and Zsa Zsa, the Bass player have guested with Clapton in the past, and were together in Dr Feelgood in thier heyday.

They are still the hardest working band in Britain, I don't think they are wildly expensive as they still do plenty of pub gigs with maybe capacity for 100 fans.

H,  I'll bring down some DVDs for you to see.

Ian

we have seen 2 guns and roses tribute bands. both brilliant! one was guns 2 roses who were at americana and the other one was gunz and rozes at rock city in nottingham a few years ago. the best lizzy tribute we have seen was limehouse lizzy.  my brother plays bass guitar in a rock trio called jester and they play all over and do led zep,dc,ozzie etc and they are brilliant.
