Not sure on the wheel & tyre combo in that model mine is a 68 and Ive gone for 8x15 rear & 7x15 front. Im sure the newer models will take at least this width and up to a 17" or 18" Torq Thrust with a 235 tyre. Check out North Hants wheels & tyres they should be able to help you with all the variants in size and style, they stock all the American wheels too.

Be sure to avoid "Mustangs Unlimited" for your parts though I've had a nightmare of a time with them recently.

On our 96GT

We had 285s on the back and 235s on the front....I went for 17 inch deep dish chrome bullitt style wheels

They looked FANTASTIC.... and the 17s made the ride bareable

BUT...take my advise DO NOT FIT CHROME WHEELS, go for Polished or coated Alloys, the chrome will just fall off the first time it rains, regardless of the ammount of chrome protect you apply.

Good places to buy allows....Summitracing will ship a set over
