Who on the forum are current bikers, Ive recently jumped back onto 2 wheels mainly for communting across town.

Currently Im on a cheap old ZZR600, Im hoping to swap that in for a Buell or Yamaha VMAX (Or something a little different from the norm)

If there are any Buell owners on the forum Id like to hear what you have to say about the bikes

Anyway lets hear what you ride and what you think about the bikes

My ZZR600 ...... I dont like it one bit, but its got me back in the saddle after 13 years & it didnt cost me that much (used to work as a Dispatch rider in Manchester until I broke me leg)

I've got a Suzy SV1000S - which I bought as I wanted a V-twin, but like bikes that go round corners (so not a Harley), and couldn't afford a Buell or a Ducati!! I definitely like the lazy power delilvery

got a customised Vmax and usually bolt a sidecar on so I can take me mate to the rallys, not your usual race-rep clone that most Vmax owners seem to go for!

Over the years I've switched between bikes and cars (can't afford two toys at once!) sold my last bike three years ago - a 1994 CBR900 Fireblade. Fantastic bike that that took me all over Europe, Isle of Man TT races, track days - the lot, and never missed a beat.

In theory it should be gone very soon too Art. I'm rebuilding my garage this winter and want rid of as much stuff as poss. I don't ride anymore now

That said I'd still like to do stuff to her. Y'know you can even get water cooled 'big blocks' for them now !!

Actually Art I would still like to ride. However I know that the way I ride will always eventually land me in trouble, if not of my own fault then someone else's. I also rode with a club across Europe and it was always fast. Their creedo was 'if you don't come off, you're not going fast enough' !

I decided that if not for myself than for my family and those that depend upon me, that I was being selfish taking such risks. So hence the cars ....... and guess what....... I enjoy it even more !!

Only down side is I've spent a lot more !
