Well my new astro is taking some pennies to sort, took it out on monday and drove a few miles before the rad went with a big split about 6" long, luckly at the top so i could still drive it home.

New parts to date

Carb
Plugs
Oil
Oil Filter
Air filter
ERG valve
Some other valve
Radiator

The EGR valve only arrived today so thats still to be fitted so i hope that will make it run better. The radiator was ordered today so should be here for the end of the week.

All in all a lot of money going in and i can't even drive it

I love my day van only let me down once in 6 years. I was on the way back from Billing and the alternator gave up the ghost. In 6 years it's only had

2 exhausts
8 tyres
one set wheel bearings
new leaf springs
air shocks rear
pitman arm and sleve
2 new front discs
four sets of pads
1 alternator
1 starter motor
loads of oil and filter changes
a bit of welding on the sill
Not bad for 6 years motoring and most of the time with the caravan on the back
