Hi Oz,you dont give much info away !!!
Do you have any old docs that came with the car previous owners history.Books receipts.
Heres some info. Most darts ran 318 or 340 or later ones did come with the bigger 360s( Chrysler ) all running gear sorry wasnt sure of your knowledge. Gearbox was a A 903 or 904 -3 speed box. Axle 8/3/4 with an open diff 261 I think.
Or this may help to trace down any info abt your car.Vehicle check www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk/ev/porta/app.
The only other way is to crawl under the car take down all stamped numbers on block-gearbox-diff.
Any pictures of the car. ??
Rich.

OZ, looking at the pics the car looks almost original suprising with an MMA sticker on it, normally the guys across the road go big time into draging these cars. So if its that clean it shouldnt be to hard to find any info on the car.
Next time im up your way will have a look over the car with you.
Mopars cant live them.. cant live without them !!!
Good choice mate..

that site says that in 1975 there was 18,452 dart swinger / custom v8 built and only 323 dart swinger / special v8 built

so how do I tell what my car is, custom or special ??

http://u225.torque.net/cars/dodgedart/sales.html

also how can I decode the vin number ?

oz has left me with his dart to sort out as it did not pass its mot. so will need help to get it fixed.

it will need welding on the n/s & o/s sills next to the back arches

o/s rear leaf spring shackil bracket nut and bolt missing

rear brake flexy hose

and rear o/s & n/s axle brake pipe corroded

I can get some patches welded on the sills but would like to get new panels so were can I get them ??

the nut and bolt I should beable to get no problem

I will need a brake flexy hose were can I get one ???

also the rear axle brake pipe I should beable to get from a local parts shop
