Hi All.
I am looking for an Alternator (second hand) for a Ford Econoline with a 302 block 5.7 EFI Engine
Does anyone know of someone breaking a van with this kind of Working Alternator or someone who has a good spare.

Also does anyone know where the Timing marks can be found on this van. We can see the white notch on the fly wheel but no other marks on any plate or casing anywhere to line it up with.

Failing that does anyone know of a good place that can take this size van and has the equipment to do tuning/timing resets. (Walsall and surrounding areas).

thanks.

then put in auto electrian ,walsall ,
thes about 11 come up ,yer could try give some of them a ring see if or how much to repair yer alternator ,
or just call in at a few with yer alternator
a few years ago i had a camaro, went to a local auto electrician with a bad starter motor,he had all the bits needed to rebuild it , cause it was the same as coventry climax fork lift trucks

Thanks guys I will try your suggestions.
Gotta be cheaper than buying a new one and certainly better than a second hand one as your not certain how long these will last.

cheers, Much Appreciated.
