Hi Everyone.
I have an Urgent Plea concerning a new Import.
I have just imported a 1979 Cadillac Miller Meteor (yes it's a Hearse)
The problem is the company have NOT sent me the Title although I got a photocopy of it in my name before it was shipped as proof it had been transfered.
I have asked them for it or a new one from the clerk of courts that dealt with this as he will have the details on their database.
Without it I can't get it registered, and the Insurance company is getting impatient about not having a reg mark and won't send the full paperwork until they have this.
DVLA have said though that the club should be able to help by providing me with
DATING EVIDENCE for this car from your contacts. They will then register it for me.
the VIN is : 6Z90S99117520.
If you can help me in this I would be eternally greatfull.
I can supply my full home address when requested.

Thanks in Advance.

Well this is turning into a saga.
The DVLA still won't accept the data I gave them. and I now have to take it down to their
testing area for inspection by Birmingham airport next Thursday.
Trouble is I am not allowed to drive it as it's not registered so I have got to try and find a Transporter from somewhere to get it there and back.
Anyone know where I can get one cheap. This was not included in the costing buget when I imported the damn thing.

Yipeeeeee      At long last the DVLA/VOSA have accepted the car for registration.

I am now awaiting the certificate and tax disk so I can get the number plates made and start driving it.

Now the work can begin

I'll see you all at the shows next year just look for the silver/grey 79 cadillac hearse
rolling into the fiels

I think we all deserve some piccies after Harry's hard work!

Congrats on getting it through. What are your plans? I always thought a hearse on air with 20" Boyds, satin black paint and a coffin subwoofer box would be absolutely wicked!
