Well, after 3 (and a half) years stuck on the driveway with various bits removed. my van finally passed an MOT on Saturday! It's been a long while. Engine still isn't running quite right, won't go above 30mph at the moment but just getting it working again is great. I'll see if I can figure out where all the power went later

In the meantime I've been looking for some cab roof lights, something like http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/ProductBrowse?storeId=10101&Pr=p_Product.CATENTRY_ID:2003372&productId=2003372&catalogId=10101. Anyone know where I might find some of these in the UK? Google (for once) isn't very helpful.

its great when yer get an mot on yer motor

30 mph? well yer shunt get a flash off a gatso

them roof lamps there sorta things yer used to see on american parts dealers stalls at car shows

a lot a them lights are old vw bettles indicators off top a wings so maybe a decent vw breaker could have a few at handy coinidge,
looks like you might be up for a few miles then this next summer if you can sort it out,???is it the one you picked up in yorkshire area..
