They are pushing them in their TV add Oz, given the choice though would recommend the Fendar Squire Kit mate. about £100.00 but pretty well everything thrown in & first step to a genuine Strat

i will go and have a look at them but for that price I could sell it back on at a car boot sale and get my money back if I dont get on with it.

It's all down to the quality of the Pick Up units Oz, for that kind of money they are going to be Naff so all you achieve is Amplification of poor quality fittings mate on the other hand the Squire units are quite good although not of the quality of a full blown Guenuine Strat. I used a Squire for 5 years or so & passed it onto my Grand Daughter who still uses it today. On the other hand if your learning Basic Guitar a cheap Acoustic is the better way to go in as much as if your in the early stages of learning basic Chords & Riffs with an Amplified Gutar all you achieve is making your mistakes more prominent. Had a Dane myself mate, great tone. Pam bought me a USA Strat Highway, was costly though at close on a Grand.

From the reports I have had Pick ups are a little flat.... Amp is a joke....But the Guitar plays quite well I think you need to check out the actual axe you are buying..IE test em.. One might be ok others might be ****e

Quality of build & materials are what you pay for with anything I suppose but quality of Amplification via the Pick Up's is a vital component of an instrument & for value for money the Squire Package offers it all Oz.
