My dads got himself a bit of a wiring issue. To cut a long story short he cracked the windscreen on his Camaro, RAC AW replaced the windscreen but broke the rear view mirror in the process, they were taking months to get a replacement so i bought him one from a 2002 Z28 and the plug on the back for the lights on the mirror was different, the other day RAC AW turned up with a replacement mirror and that was the same type with the wrong plug on the back. Both of us were told that there was only one type of mirror used from 1997 thru to 2002 which doesnt look to be the case.
He's got a 2001 Z28 - UK Spec.
Any ideas? Is there a convertor plug or can we snip off the old plug, buy the correct one & re wire it?
