I just got a 1990 chrysler voyager manual the starter will not turn over it has been standing for over a year I have checked battery, earth to chassis and engine (no go ) battery to starter is live . I tried to tow it a few yards but even in gear it ran into the back of me tow bar ( poss. clutch plate stuck ) I cannot find any emobiliser any body got any ideas PLEASE cheers Geoff
did it fire up an run ok last time before it stopped gettin used an stored/parked up ,or was there a problem then? does the clutch pedal have to be pressed down before it will fire up on that model? have you tried to start it usin good jump leads ? that way it should be gettin plenty of lectric

It did work he drove it on to his drive way and I have tried the clutch pedal trial and even I've tried clipping the seat belt in in case that was the problem. There is power going to the starter but I cannot get to the other wires , I have got a person who will help me tomorrow to tow it up the road so i'll keep you posted cheers Geoff
I have a Voyager (later model) and you do have to have the clutch to the floor.
If it is a diesel you will need a mother of a jump pack to start it. I can't jump it from my pack, or my Torino/transam. I had to get breakdown man out with their "wired into the van" jump leads.
