Hi Andrew & welcome to the Forum.  No shortage of Crown Vic owners & many n Police Car livery.

Not too sure regarding the SVA Regs mate but there is no one in the UK who knows more about SVA requirments than Paul Strudwck of Teslayne Engineering.  Paul worked with us in gaining exemption from Enhanced SVA for USA vehicles a few years back & SVA is his speciality.

Give Paul a ring on 01869 601028, tell him Harry Tune put you onto him & pass on my regards.
Sure he can sort you out.

as far as I'm aware as long as the indicator and lamp are seperate then that's fine....but they're the same lamp on those aren't they? so I think for the SVA you'd need to chop the wire for the marker light....but maybe you can put a switch on situ on the wire so you can put it back afterwards?

so for the mot you'd need to turn it off....I do the same thing on the dodge and driving round no one bats an eye lid at front markers as alot of BM's and Volvo's have them....but the difference is is that they're not what construction and use deems as interupted....ie they only do one job.

The position light (parking light) should be seperate to the indicator. The easiest solution is to get two small bulb holders and insert them into your headlamp shell. Wire them into the parking light circuit, voila, white position lamps. The position lamp feed to the indicator will need disconnecting. Thats what they did to my Ramster anyway.
Must say, I miss my amber position lights tho...

I once saw someone wire their front fog lights as flashers, painted them amber and kept the amber markers on the front. The parking lights you mention....that's been done on my dak.

yer still full a crap after all this time, anyone else who had been kicked off 3 forums and banned from clubs for pulling scams on our car enthusiasts and just plain causing trouble would a learned by now,

confirmed by the person whos shipped in your car who you are nova2727

>>>  from uk site.today. so try not to insult us anymore by thinking were stupid when we have hours of crap removed from out forum in at least 4 other usernames, seen as you had your own forum until it was closed down you should know theres ways of knowing these things.

Those in the know have been provided with the proof, but I can confirm that nova2727 is one and the same person as P71 Owner.

I just could not sit back and let such a thing continue.
