After having small cars my whole life, I'm finally getting the car I should have gotten a long time ago.  I'm now a big fan of "land yachts" like America used to make.  I'm sick of all those suv's, crossovers, and pickup trucks.  Seems that almost noone likes big American rear-wheel sedans and front bench seats anymore.

Had a Dodge Neon for the past 8 years.  Getting a new Grand Marquis.  Going to take 4 months to get though.  That's how long factory orders for Fords are taking now.  2 weeks to go!

In the UK, you don't have many big cars, right?  Glad we don't have your gas prices.

There are a few large uns around - mainly german stuff tho - bmw  7 series, big mercs, Audi A8 stuff like that - quite a few chrysler 300c's knocking around now too.

Yeah petrol can be a bind tho LPG is a good and cheaper alternative

Don't knock the trucks / Utes, SUV's and others too loud on the forum mate...loads of them in the UK and here are well appreciated along with those big old sedans/wagons you seem to love! Welcome in anyway and enjoy..

Only us nut cases run 'em

It's sort of relative really. The gas is dear, but heart surgery is free !!

Suppose you just have to weigh it all up !
