This has come up before but I think its way overpriced, even for a Mopar. if it was a stock 440 or six pack, it'd be worth a punt but I think that for a 383 its too much. Correct me if I'm wrong. (I still want it though!)

i know what yer mean about a 440
thats what i wanted after a "little worked on" 340 plymouth duster beat my 6.6 (403)transam at drag strip ,
12.8 secs against my 15.3

so about 18 years ago i got this 440 magnum rt/charger as a daily user ,
which also run in high 13s at drag strip

downside was regular 8mpg

an no power steering

there wont be too much wrong if its a good strong runnin 383 ,probly only 1/2 sec diffrence on 1/4 mile against a 440,
diffrence between a good or bad start
