[8|] Right DJ  UK summer nats 20th /22nd June,
Southport show 21st /22 nd June yep same weekend but don't you think  it might appeal to members up this way, who would'nt want to travel as far as Stratford.
If get positive feedback will see if can get blockbooking for free entry like did with N/West how's that sound.
Though reading in more detail application form says car clubs £25 pclub will pursue a personnel letter sent by organiser.

englishedsel -> RE: Local shows North West area (Mar. 7 2008 23:05:57)

Me and Lisa went to the Southport show last year as a guest of a local custom bike club..had a great weekend (and only cost £4:00 for the weekend). It wasn't just classic Brits but a lot of yanks and a feww rods there as well ..can highly recomend it for a relaxing weekend with plenty to see and do ...we'll be going again this year...

[:D]Was at the N/West's AGM in January think it was after they saw the treasure's report on how much was in the kitty and got onto the subject of the Northern Nats etc.
Why does the club have to have its show as far away as Oswestry, cost!! they struggled to get people to help the run the show, now wer've we heard that before, comments  like I wont be attending the show as its too far away and because it should be in the Manchester area.
We had  Dukes 95 and  then Rumbles n Roars in the centre oh! sorry you have to pay entry to get in but if you give your help as say a marshal the it's free yes no. You always get the same  voices why dont we go back to Tabley house, cause I think would be well outta the clubs price range in the 90's was £1000 to hire the field before the other hire costs involved.
I was always supprised at first, how selfish so called members could be who tried to get out of paying  & would not give any help, volunteers came from other club's or strangers.
Here enderth my little rant.[;)]

[8|] hiya chris!! its always been a close cut area the n/w but lets give credit were its due if possible as they did as a club go out and throw everything into the show were other so called clubs seem to promise all these shows and come up with nothing, strange things happen that do kill off areas and meets when someone clash's a meet with a long establised meet and then tells the people its for the good of everyone????// we seen just what capabilitys that said club had when in the middle of manchester city centre they couldent get together an hand full of supporters bar the first outing so went by the by and you would be very hard pushed to bump into a single supporter at most established events too!!! thats part of the problems we have today with so many spin off clubs all promising so much but coming up empty and so killing off the possible membership to a real clubs once they are dissgruntled[8|] SEE YOU AT BROWN COW[:)][:)][:)]
