Sorry to ask the eternal question ref miles per gallon and I should know better as its never bothered me before, but......................Is anybody out there running a Ram SRT10 4 door on LPG and if so, what kind of mpg do you get compared to straight petrol. Also what kind of power loss? I'm looking to buy one and not sure if to wait and/or pay extra for one with lpg or sod it and just go for the one I like the look of. I only do about 3k miles a year.

not sure on mpg but you wont have any power loss with lpg on a 505 BHp 8.3 motor thats a cert, would a thought steady away driving would give about 18 mpg on lpg, i honestly cant se the need for that sort a power in a truck and would be quite happy with a well set up 5.7 hemi and a decent chip and induction all day long,420 ish miles on about £90 dave gets in his hemi ram lpg multi point job.

Yeah, they do about 9mpg on regular fuel so double it yeah?

You don't want to worry about power loss mate. That V10 could run the QE2! Like Dean says, its actually waaaay over the top for a truck. You can stick it in 3rd and drive off no sweat at all, and you'll be doing 130mph before you have to change gear. Awesomely powerful machine.

as others have said ,dont think yal notice any diffrence performance wise,
what ever yer srt gets to the gallon it works out about 1/2 price runnin on lpg ,
petrol £1 a liter ,lpg about 50p liter
my 5.7 hemi ram is less than 1/4 sec slower at santa pod drag strip
an about 2 mph slower when runnin on lpg as against petrol ,
performance wise its not noticable on the road .........
even when towing me caravan,
but about 1/2 the price of petrol ,it makes a big diffrence wallet wise
ive done 10,000 miles an the conversion has now paid fer itself
so its a genuine 1/2 price motorin fuel wise from now on

cheap fill up wi LPG yeee haaaaaaaaaa,
yer carnt tell diffrence when yer drivin ,but yer sure notice when it comes to payin out yer hard earned £££££££s
ive run 440 rt dodge charger years ago that was only doin 8mpg but it seemed easier then ,maybe cos yer wernt been robbed with as much fuel tax
if need be an i want to run  on stupid expensive petrol ,i just press a button an a instant later am burnin petrol
