Ok, its a bit of a sticky one but cars from about 1992 onwards that were supplied in the uk had to have one fitted however, if your car is an import (which yours obviously is) then it must have the recommended fitment for the country that it was brought in from however, most MOT stations won't question it unless your emissions are really out. Me advice: slot in a cat replacement pipe. If your insurance queries it then, "'Twas like that when I bought it guv!" To be honest, no one is really going to mind too much as its an old car. Then, when posting, click the little icon with mountains on and delete the http. bit. Paste your link in and delete the img words at the beginning and end of it and voila.
