good effort Martin, if it says Chevy on the badge then it must be a Chevy.

I don't know why people say they're not Chevys. The new designs bear a very close ressemblance to what you can buy in the states. Good luck and enjoy the cast iron warranty and the satisfaction of knowing that you got far more kit for a lot less money.

Kewl   we use ours as the daily driver 112 miles a day   Nice car to drive the only gripe we do have is the mpg.  When we bought the car the figures were around 44mpg for motorway driving.  We knew not to expect that as the figures are always higher than they actually are.  But what we didn't expect was 32 mpg   As you can probably work out 112 miles at 32mpg works out that we are in the petrol station every 3 days .

Oh well, things may be changing with our jobs so should be ok in the long run.

The fuel stats for ours says 28 town driving, 44 motorway, combined 32, but for a 1.8 auto i dont think it will be to bad, an i hope as its an 08plate one when we pick it up it maybe a bit better!!!! well heres hoping anyway!!!!!!! But we will have the added bonus of it being a motability car that we wont have insurance to pay for or tax so thats a big big big help on the money front for us!

Yep - exactly the same figure we got given - but please don't count on it - like i said we can't get higher than 32 on the motorway out of the 112 miles a day we do, about 105 are at motorway speeds so can't even class it as the "combined" figure We've both tried every driving style you can think of - driving harsh, driving like a granny - every which way you like - in fact if my husband can get 29.6 mpg from his Trans-Am, i'm sure he can get good mpg outta the wagon - but alas 32 is the highest we can get. We've even done a extensive web search and most of the articles we found state 44mpg but no-one can get higher than

We even took it back to the dealer and asked them to investigate - but according to them 32 is about right ????

At the end of the day it's a nice car with good reliability, please don't think I'm trying to put you off - just warning you - enjoy!!

Odd that coz Holden do not promote the fuel economy for their vehicle much either....around 8 litres for 100 kilometres (which is 30ish MPG!)..I get 12 litres for 100kms out of my 4.0l Falcon and the V8 Explorer!
