Now I don't contest that this is a rarity - probably even the only one but come on...

Still, I bet someone does buy it!

The Grand National is a bit special in the Buick line up Lee & untitled with 9 mile on the clock it will no doubt end up in the hands of a collector.

I could have bought a Trans Am a number of years ago with just 24 miles on it but the minute you start using it the value decreases.

80s car with late 60s early 70s muscle car performance [sm=thumbsup.gif]
GNX: 3.8L V6 Turbo 276 bhp @ 4400 rpm, 360 ft-lb @ 3000 rpm.
GNX: 0-60 in 5.5 seconds, 1/4 mile in 13.43 seconds @ 103 mph.
10 mph faster and 2 secs quicker than my 1985 tpi transam that
i used to run down dragstrip around 1990 - 93,
i wanted a GNX in the 90s but could'nt afford one then[sm=confused36.gif]

It doesn't float my boat personally, but I can see how such a rare car can fetch such a high price. I've seen them dragging in the States and they are quick.

I'm told they canned it because the actual 0-60 time was even quicker than quoted and was sub 5 secs. This made it outclass the Corvette, let alone nearly all 911s at the time. It is apparently easy to wind up the boost and add 40bhp. The thing is, you'd buy it but couldn't drive it and even if you wanted to, its been sitting for all these years, something's bound to blow
