I am considering buying a 4th Gen Camaro/firebird 3.8V6 as a daily driver, what MPG should I expect?

I've not long bought my 2000 3.8 v6 Camaro and I get 30mpg doing all motorway miles sat at around 80 all the way

The only reason I bought her to replace my 91 Firebird was that I needed something a bit more economical to travel the 112 miles a day to work (when hubby wasn't in his usual office), this I did about 3 times a week, but to be honest life is beginning to change for us, hubby has got himself a new job much closer to home and starts week after next, and I resigned on Friday and am looking for a job back near home again, so I may consider selling my Camaro again to get me another v8 (am currently liking the idea of a 50's pickup

She has 40k miles on the clock and I am the second owner - the previous owner was a disable chap who unfortunately died. I have to admit though - she is quick, much quicker that my 91 Firebird was he he.

Nice to see 30+ being mentioned, anyone use theirs for non-motorway trips as we don't have any 3 laners on the Isle of Man, just hills and stuff!

I'm looking for a slightly older 4th Gen, maybe a 94-97 (a bit cheap like!)

Just for comparison purposes I get a completely genuine and checked and re-checked 32.6 mpg when on a run from my 2002 LS1 V8 Camaro
