Here's a thought though. The rebels lost out today on the vote to stop the increase in tax on cars reggied after 2001. If like me you're thinkin' of sornin' your motor for 6 months of the year. It could actually pay you to tax it for 12 months just before the new rate comes in. If it's gonna be £430 for 12 months, you can bet your bippy it'll be £250 for 6!!!! Might as well have the car available for the full 12 months if it's only cost you £190, and you won't get hit for the big one until the following year if you time it right. Just a thought.
