I didn't see the AACI tent until just before I left on the Sunday, and I had a very large hotdog baguette in one hand, wife on the phone asking me to pick her up form the shopping centre in Liverpool in the other hand, and the tent was full of people cowering from the rain, so I just headed for the ferry. I didn't notice the AACI tent at all on saturday so where was I and what was I doing? Dazzled by all the stunning cars on show! It was well worth the very expensive ferry ticket! Although not my cuppa, hats off to all of the Chrysler Cruisers boys for their numbers and quality. I spoke to a few people including the guy with the S&H Torino, (funnily enough!) - made my mind up that I want another one! I looked at a few 4th Gen Camaros that were for sale and have decided I want one of them too!!! So, I've just sold my Subaru.....comnig back over this weekend for a spot of car shopping!!! My wife even muttered "so when is Americarna then, next weekend....that sounds good...." I think we'll have to move over to the "mainland"....my car club here manages about 15 cars at our big summer event, which is great for our tiny Island.....but when I come over to a big show like this, I remember what I'm missing! Last show I went to was a rather soggy AACI summer nats at Billing a couple of years ago. We're over again first week in August, any big shows on then???? (up north preferably as staying in scarborough for a few days)....

I was hoping to get over that weekend but can't get time off work until 1st week in August, all I can see on then is Drags at York. Anything else? Tatton really got me the bug again for coming over for shows, even though it's a £200-300 round trip! (Ferry plus gas), oh, and accomodation, hot dogs.......
