GAVINS BIRD
Gavin Johnson is the son of me n Barb and he has always been into fancy cars since he was a kid, we have always had some motor or another fitted with a V8 in around the place so I suppose the enthusiasm of parents passes onto your children.
He works for me valeting cars and helping to get them ready for sale on the premises of our Family business.
He likes to swop his cars & try something different & it did take us a couple a years to get him out of Supra’s and BMW 's but now he's seen the light & is now as fanatical about American vehicles as myself & Barb.
If we get something in nicer than the car he might have at that specific moment he soon gets the bottom lip out until a deals struck to take over ownership.
This particular specimen of a 1994 Trans Am was a bargain that he grabbed as soon as it came into us, it’s a super car with plenty a toys and a sweet sounding V8 to haul it around with plenty of grunt on tap.
I don’t get to borrow it any more as it were a bit sick after my last thrashing to Billing Aquadrome for the UK Street Vans show but I have got to fix it up and make sure its right for him, like myself & Barb he won’t settle for anything less than the best so we gave it a good servicing and fitted new brakes as well as: rear exhausts, induction system, remote locking and immob, I also fitted the Graphics that were supplied via a company in the USA and just made sure it was completely ready for plenty of reliable miles of cruising.
His mam (Barb) bought him a “Personalized registration plate for his 18th Birthday but he don’t get to many shows because he plays rugby for Batley but will be up to the Summernationals and Americana.
He does get to some of the Cruises but most of the time he's out with his Rugby mates or selling a couple a cars while were away at a show for the weekend, Gav is a gentle giant to talk to but once the whistle blows for kickoff BEWARE, its water boy time.
Proud of him? You Bet.
